Indulgence

This video explores the idea of indulgence in a playful and slightly over-the-top way. I was inspired by Marie Antoinette and Fancy Nancy, so I leaned into a world that feels whimsical, dramatic, and a little chaotic in a fun way. Along with my team of 3 other students, we directed, shot, and edited the entire piece, focusing on using color, texture, and pacing to create a sense of excess. I wanted the visuals to feel rich and almost overwhelming, reflecting indulgence not just as luxury but as a mindset. At the same time, I didn't want it to feel too serious — there is a sense of humor throughout, and that balance between elegance and playfulness was really important to me.

Make it Food

I was inspired by Alysa Liu's 2026 Olympic figure skating performance and the way figure skating blends sport with fashion and performance. I used the same song from her performance in my stop motion piece because I wanted to carry over that emotional tone and connect my interpretation directly to the original moment.

The skating character is made from pasta as the body, baby's breath flowers as the dress, and a raspberry as the head. I was drawn to the contrast between structure and delicacy — the pasta gives form and silhouette, while the flowers add lightness and movement. The blueberries act as the audience, reinforcing the idea that fashion and performance both rely on being watched. At the end, "FLAUNT" is spelled out to tie the piece directly to the magazine and to frame the skating show as a fashion spectacle.

Intricacies

Collision of luxury silver with rodeo-worn denim. Like a needle in a haystack, the intricacy is subtle but unmistakable.

Rodeo denim carries history: sun, dust, friction, movement.
Silver enters as precision: sharp, deliberate, refined.

The luxury isn't loud. It's embedded.
Found in the stitch and not every detail reveals itself at first glance.

Discovered only by those who look closely.

All In The Eyes

This piece plays with repetition and perception using layered images of my own face. I focused on the eyes to create something that feels a little hypnotic and slightly off. I edited and stacked the images to blur the line between still and moving, letting it feel both controlled and a bit chaotic. Being both the model and editor made it feel more personal, like an exploration of how identity can shift and repeat.

Texas Pete × Telfar

The brief was to create a fashion drop for the North Carolina native brand Texas Pete. I wanted to expand on the client's hero shot with a campaign video. I took the bag that the client described in the hero shot and created a few scenes with AI and stitched them together. For the design pieces, I was very inspired by the bright red color and the peppers and flames.

My favorite design is the pepper shoe — you can easily tell that it relates to Texas Pete, but there is no branding on it. I wanted to go for a luxurious drop that incorporated all of the client's visions. The bandana can be worn on its own or paired with another design. Overall, I feel that this drop incorporated luxury with Texas Pete while staying true to the client's image.
